Harriet Blackbury has been writing
poetry for as long as she can remember.
She has developed her own very
natural and distinctive style, using everyday language in a way that
appeals to readers of all ages and social backgrounds, right across
the board, by creating credible scenarios for them to dwell upon.
Refreshingly different, her poems
range from the deeply reflective and the sharply perceptive to the
gently whimsical and, quite often, the downright hilarious.
She has a keen eye for the emotions,
the frustrations, the joys and the disappointments of day-to-day
existence.
At times she treads a raw path through
the jungle of human failings but whatever the mood her verses all seem
to provide a meaningful slant on the realities of modern life.
