The Old Fool

I'm in a time warp
A safe cocoon
I'm not a fashion horse
I still watch 'High Noon'.

I love the old films
In black and white
And down at the disco
I am quite a sight.

I can do every dance
And swing with the best
And when I get hot
I reveal my string vest.

I love all that jazz
And the sixties twist
There isn't a decade
Of fun that I've missed.

I wear 'bell-bottoms'
With my 'de-mob' tie
I out-jive the youngsters
They laugh til they cry.

I can tone down my act
For an afternoon tea dance
When in my cravat
With a lady I prance!

I'm still full of life
I never keep still
Not for me
Is the viagra pill.
